Everhthing was above expectations! The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious wirh a lovely modern bathroom. The location was perfect for walking to all of the attractions and the wall. The delicious breakfast had fruits, veggies, cheeses and meats, yogurt, breads and jams and more.

Old, well maintained and characterful hotel situated in the heart of the old city. Car parking taken care of by the staff after they've helped you unload and taken your bags to the room. Had the junior suite which is on two levels. Extremely comfortable and if it wasn't for the pull of the magnificent old city outside, we could have easily spent the entire day in chilled relaxation here. Breakfast is varied, expertly cooked and very well presented, either in the dining room or in the garden. Shower is powerful and part of a spacious bathroom. The hotel is a welcoming part of a magnificent city. You won't be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Eisenhut on the 16th of February, as part of a short weekend trip to Germany, and it truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we stepped through the front doors, we were captivated by the hotel’s historic charm, blending beautifully with the fairytale atmosphere of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Parking was available a short distance away from the hotel and our rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and offered stunning views of the town’s picturesque rooftops, with tidy balconies allowing you to sip a cup of tea in the frisk morning air as you watch chimneys smoke in the distance. The combination of antique furnishings and modern comforts made it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Rothenburg, just steps away from the town’s iconic landmarks, charming streets, and fantastic restaurants. Though the hotel itself carries a rich history, it offers all the modern amenities one could need, ensuring a cozy and relaxing stay. Breakfast was another highlight, served in a beautiful dining area with a fantastic selection of fresh and delicious options. Every detail, from the presentation to the quality of the food, added to the overall experience. Hotel Eisenhut is the perfect place for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the magic of Rothenburg while enjoying top-notch hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to fellow travelers!

The hotel building and design matched perfectly with the atmosphere of Rothenburg, and the location was ideal. The bed was more comfortable than any other hotel I’ve stayed at, and the staff were extremely friendly, providing detailed explanations in English. The room was spacious and truly enjoyable—this was the best hotel! There were both underground and outdoor parking options, and both were good. Since the outdoor parking was cheaper, I would choose that one if I stay here again.
