What a lovely place, an unexpected gem, full of character. We had a trailer with bikes and the staff helped us push it and secure it in the courtyard. The rooms were atmospheric, a little dated, but did not affect the comfort. Lovely terrace to have a drink and food overlooking the lake.

I have been staying at the Schlossburg since 2002, which included some extended stays while we were relocating to Germany and moving back. Great, friendly staff, views from the balcony that are "to die for" and great food/drink. Thank you for a great experience once again.

The staff were amazing and helpful beyond imagination. The hotel is clean and friendly, the team couldn't be more helpful, they got us out of a predicament that could have completely ruined our holiday. I feel we met genuine people who offered only help and friendship without wanting anything in return. Truly a great place to stay, would highly recommend it to anyone who wanted a stress free and relaxing stay.

    Just an overnight stop on a long drive, and I arrived very late and tired due to delays en route. Access was by key safe with a code sent by text, and worked perfectly. The room was pleasant, clean and spacious and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever found at a hotel. Had great night's sleep and continued my journey in a better mood. Very cheerful and helpful receptionist.

    We were delayed by German traffic and the guy at the reception waited for us (although we were instructed to get the room key in the safe). As it was late we did not search for dinner outside of the hotel - but their bistro did a very good job. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Free parking in front of the hotel.

    very good location - close to the highway. Nice - standard - good size room with airconditioner. Very clean. Parking space right in fromnt of the hotel. Very friendly personel (they delivered the gluten free bread during the breakfast and even heated up the bun)
