The staff was helpful each time I needed anything. The gym was comprehensive and had plenty of equipment to get a good workout. I did not use the Sauna but it looked clean and very nice with a relaxing area and big shower. Towels were available.

It exceeds the expectations. Although the hotel is conveniently located near the train station, the room is quite private and we were unable to hear any train noise. They also have a kitchen that is always open and well equipped.

    If you have business in Mannheim, I would recommend not staying in Ludwigshafen am Rhein. Sure they are only separated by the Rhein river but things could have been much easier in my case if I had found property in Mannheim. Do not take my word for it though, try it for yourself.

    Ludwigshafen am Rhein is one of the ugliest cities in...

    Ludwigshafen am Rhein is one of the ugliest cities in Germany. It was built around the chemical plant of BASF with 60 thousand employees. They are tearing down the Rathaus Center and Berliner Platz looks like after a bombing. The raised highways are also partially removed and the Rhine bridges have to be repaired. The main shopping street has 1 Euro Shops, closed shops and other stuff. Terrible. But it's always worth to go there when you have old friends there. No matter how ugly the town is, I will return. The best thing is the BASF wine cellar in Anilinstrasse they have amazing wines.

    We stayed for BUGA23. From the hotel, take Tram 7 from BASF station to BUGA in 35 minutes without changing trains. The BASF station is about an 8-minute walk from the hotel. The concept of breakfast is health-conscious. My husband and I were very satisfied with the variety of fruits and muesli. I think the staff are very friendly and well trained in all departments.

    * Outstanding attentiveness and hospitality of the staff. We were served a coffee while waiting for the rooms to be ready upon check-in. * Business-looking hotel. Very clean, spacy and comfortable room. * The toilette was great, I would stand out the shower, which was top, providing a high/pleasant water pressure. * Giant bed and high quality mattress.

    The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. There were enough parking spots even as the hotel was fully booked. It’s is in a calm area so the stay was very peaceful. Also Lots of variety at breakfast buffet.
