Location of the hotel is exceptional. Free parking was available close to the hotel (hotel sent us a detailed explanation where to park). Room and bathroom were spacious. Breakfast rooms are big and plenty of nice tables to chose from. Staff was very friendly.

A wonderful and beautiful hotel! Lively yet calm. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was superb and gave a good start for the day. We had a beautiful room with a view to the castle. The whole experience was elegant yet down-to-earth. Loved it! And we could check in, check out and pay everything online in advance, which was very convenient and quick!

My room: Bed was really comfy. Room was clean. Bathroom spotless. Even had a kettle and coffees and teas for you. This was perfect. Room had a comfy chair. Big desk. Large tv. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Location: Hotel has a good car park for guests. Easy to get in and out of. The hotel itself is in a nice spot. If you are wanting to go on the steam train, then the station is literally next door. The train departs from platform 3. And you pay on the train (at time of writing) To get to the old town turned out to only be a 5 minute walk. If I come back to Quedlinburg in the future then i’d defiantly come back here.

    Fantastic town to walk around with oodles of old buildings tastefully maintained/restored. Plenty of opportunity to shop, although is seems this time of year, late September, things are slowing down and not every place is open. Had a great meal at the Zum Bar Hotel, you'll want to dine here at least once!

    A little gem- the inner city and castle untouched by all the...

    A little gem- the inner city and castle untouched by all the wars- it has changed a lot cosmetically since the reunification of Germany - but it's charm has remained. Quite walkable- the only challenging part being the sometimes steep stroll up to the castle. Don't ignore the side streets- there are some wonderful shops hidden away.

    Quedlinburg is a delightful town, with lovely buildings, great cafes and restaurants, and good shopping. Castle, senf (mustard) shop, and walking tour of the old town were very nice. Baumkuchen and cappuccinos were delicious. Everything is in walking distance - train station is a ten-minute walk away.

    Location was very good with walking access to restaurants, museums, beautiful half timber buildings, churches, etc. Bed rooms were spacious, also large family room meeting area, full kitchen and large bath room. Parking was nearby and easy to access. Stair access to room was somewhat difficult (narrow and winding) but we managed ok. Would stay here again.

    One of the principal towns in the Harz region, Quedlinburg retains its old-world feel with many timber framed buildings and rambling streets. It makes a good base for exploring the Harz mountains with good bus and rail links.

    The location of the Samocca hotel is great. The hotel is located in a fully renewed old building but still keeps a lot of charm. The staff were really understanding with our late arrival caused by the bad weather conditions. We found a spotless room arranged so it would fit a family of 4 and were offered to prebook breakfast for the following morning. It was indeed the best breakfast we had during our whole summer holidays. Would totally recommend.

    The hotel has all the facilities to make guests feel completely comfortable. The name of the hotel "Romantic" absolutely refers to the place. My family and mine expectations were absolutely positive when we arrived, and we thought that we were about to have a really great time at this place.
