The main highligt is the restaurant - quite crowdy and serving great meals. The staff was wonderful - we came just after the kitchen was closed, but we still could order some meals and the staff was very helpful (it was the asparagus season, delicious!). The room was quiet, very clean, the beds were comfy. Very diverse breakfast with a lot of local delicacies (cheese, cold cuts, vegetables). Definitely a place worth spending the night.

We had the "deluxe double studio" and it was great! Spacious, comfy beds, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast with a big selection of items. Location is great, silent area with a few minutes walk to the center of town with plenty of restaurants. All the staff members are nice and friendly and very helpful. Danke schön!

Nice room, very clean. Right next to the train tracks but perfectly sound proof with double windows. The staff was amazing, very polite and helpful. The location is very good, just a 10 minute walk from the Freiburg central station and the city centre.

So, we absolutely loved this hotel. Super dog friendly we had a top floor room. Comfy beds. Large room. The restaurant menu is quite limited due to a refurbishment of the kitchen and reviews reflect this but…..as things are progressing they are offering much more. We had lunch and were so impressed we decided to try an evening meal. What a winner. Ribeye steak cooked to absolute perfection. Melt in the mouth and so tender. Well done that chef. Best steak ever and seriously I am a steak snob. Pork medallions wrapped in bacon with plums. Beautiful. Drinks were very very reasonable. Breakfast was substantial and varied. Wonderful. Staff professional and very happy. Well done everyone from kitchen to reception. Management note… you have a great team and a superb chef. Its been a pleasure.

The hotel has its own parking, belonging to the hotel. We arrived just before the kitchen closed (9.30 p.m) but could still get a very nice schnitzel dinner. Food and drinks were very good. Our family room was comfortable, clean and beds and pillows were great, we had a very good nights sleep. But the very best was the breakfast!!! It had everything we needed, tasty fresh bread, juices, hot drinks, cheese, ham, youghurt, müsli, fruit and vegetables. And all served very nicely in the cozy restaurant.

Spacious rooms with balcony, bathroom well appointed, spotless clean. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was fabulous, wide variety of choices, hard to surpass other hotel experiences in Germany. Roomy restaurant and terrace. Private parking.

We spent a night on the way back from holiday. A very clean, well-organized hotel. Great restaurant, we had an excellent dinner and a very rich breakfast - better to book both on advance. Super option for a family stop.

Very clean, cozy hotel, with very friendly staff. It is located out of the mail Freiburg town, so very quiet. It was perfect for 1 night - as a place to rest before continuing our trip. Very good breakfast!!!

We usually use this hotel enroute to Italy. The restaurant is very good. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Staff always pleasant and helpful.
