Good as the base for outdoor activities like hiking and biking. Our kind of vacation wasn't based on what the town has to offer, but on the surrounding nature, so I can't say much about the tourist's attractions in the town. Sometimes there's a problem to find a place to eat. You have to reserve a place in the restaurant in order to get there. Schluchsee is lovely.
Schluchsee is lovely. The location is perfect, 20min to titisee and, 20 min to feldberg (highest peak with cable lifts), 50 min to schaffhaussen or basel, 50 min to Freiburg. In the summer period the see is so nice with boats and beaches everywhere. Just a great placeGuest review byMNetherlands

For the fact it was an apartment house, we enjoyed very nice sauna and indoor pool. Most of all the hotels open their sauna from earliest 11 AM but we were able to enjoy it earlier before checkout.
