The room is very clean and comfortable. The location is very close to Lake Königssee. It takes about 20 minutes to walk and is just a bus stop away. Breakfast is great. The owner is very warm and hospitable. Highly recommended.

Dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing - every meal was a highlight. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. Everything. I loved outdoor pool, sauna, breakfast , room , beds, staff. If I will visit this place one more time, I will come again to this hotel and recomend to all. My dog was happy too. Staff was very nice and friendly, I never experienced such warm attitude toward dogs in hotel. It was hard to leave. The most beautiful thing was the garden with big trees surrounded by mountains. It was gorgeous with sun as well as rain and storm. We extend our trip just because we loved the hotel and garden.

Comfortable hotel in a wonderful location with nice mountain...

Comfortable hotel in a wonderful location with nice mountain view. Excellent meals at hotel and Brenner Bau in nearby Bishofswiesen. Easy driving access in nearby areas - not overcrowded in October season.

Schönau am Königssee is a truly magical place, surrounded by some of the most stunning natural landscapes I’ve ever seen. The crystal-clear waters of Königssee, framed by towering alpine peaks, are simply breathtaking. We took a boat ride on the lake, which was peaceful and allowed us to fully appreciate the beauty of the area. The town itself is charming and serene, offering a perfect blend of nature and relaxation. Whether hiking, boating, or just enjoying the scenery, Schönau am Königssee is a must-visit for nature lovers. We can’t wait to return!

We had a very nice day. The boat ride was lovely.

We had a very nice day. The boat ride was lovely. Such a beautiful and peaceful ride over to the island. The trumpet was great and the echo was brilliant. The only problem was the captain of the boat did not explain on the ride over the history of it all in English. He claimed to not know that there were English speakers on board.

Hiking here is amazing! The lake is extremely beautiful. Hiking, you will mostly see only Germans or Austrians. Is you take the ferry, which you should, you'll see people from everywhere and it feels more touristy, but still beautiful.

Visiting this place was just breathtaking.

Visiting this place was just breathtaking. Everything is so clean and neat. Nice people and nice surroundings. Mountain views are beautiful. Super close to Switzerland if you are hesitating to see Mozart house and see the town. Also close to the Eagle’s Nest.

Excellent work staff. Very friendly and hardworking. I especially wanted to highlight the treatment of Daiana, Nicole(from service)and Seba who made our stay perfect. Especially Daiana, who was always willing to help me and take care of my dog. She even helped us with the transfer. Excellent person!! Perfect hotel for those who travel with dogs and love nature and sports. Impeccable rooms, with beautiful design with mountain views.
