Stayed for a day.
Stayed for a day. I think you get the feel for it in an evening and a morning. 2 days would probably be the right if you prioritize relaxation. But for the more experienced, energetic travelers I think a day is perfect for the city center. Großcomburg should be something to get at before departing! Cafe Hammel was great, the cake and coffee was wonderful. We ate lunch at the outdoor restaurant at the St. Michael’s plaza. Food was excellent, Walking around SHA brought back lots of great memories. Lived in the area until I was 8. Really glad that I made the trip. I always wanted to go back and finally did. I was so pleased to find that the hotel is still run by the same family and one of the daughters, who were our age, was on reception when we arrived. We had a nice long chat; thankfully her English is better than my German. Still a lovely hotel and Schwabisch Hall is every bit as good as I remembered. Pleasant check-in and check-out process. The hotel is an old but nicely furnished/decorated building. There are small reading areas in the corridors and around the staircase.
