The town, although small, was very accessible and very well connected to the entire Mosel area. The town didn't seem to have everything one would need, but the ability to go nearby for everything else kept it a good destination. It was very quiet and very relaxing. This is the perfect spot to stay if you are planning to...
This is the perfect spot to stay if you are planning to visit Burg Eltz---we were able to have a good nights rest and nice breakfast, then get to the castle (and get a good parking spot for the castle) around opening time. This gave us the opportunity to visit the castle with much fewer people on the weekend, rather than how crowded it was when we were leaving, after our tour.
