Lovely area along the Rhine.

Xanten is a perfect small town to be visited over the course of a weekend. It is small enough to walk around and visit all the landmarks or museums you are interested in. Don't forget to spend half a day in the Archaelogischen Park Xanten, just outside the city center! Another recommendation is to sit down at the terraces or inside any of the restaurants.
