Delightful hotel in market square with view of hills around. Rooms well-appointed, beds very comfortable. Fresh breakfast buffet. Staff prepared scrambled eggs on request. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to sit on the sunny roof terrace.

My room was spatious and had everything I needed (including a desk of a proper size where you could work if needed and a fridge). The view from my window was nice, and the location is great: right in the center and not too far from the railway station. The restaurant they have there is good, but inexpensive (as is the hotel itself).

Very cozy and nice place. This place is basically a small camping ground with 3 huts in a backyard. But everything is just done very nicely and with love. The hut was very tidy and cozy and included sheets and towels. We slept under the roof, which was quite warm but got cool enough when opening both windows for a while, so unless it's boiling hot outside, this is fine. The bathrooms and kitchen are shared, but also those are very clean and extremely well done and decorated with love to details. So you definitely get a very comfortable and clean camping-like experience.

    The city is historic with lots of history and you can take tours around the city with a guide, also a lot of hiking can be done in oybin with a mountain train to take you, but not in winter. There is a museum, five churches, local bakeries, shops and restaurants. Train station is ten minutes walk to the centre. Locals don’t speak a lot of English but any young person will.

    The place is located very close to the Zittau city center (circa 500 m walking distance), yet it is perfectly quiet. It sets a great starting point for the tour of the Zittauer Gebirge (Oybin, Jonsdorf, Hain) and can be a great stop on the way down to the Czech Republic. The room offers all the.necessary conveniences for travellers. The host is a very kind person and ready to help anytime. Highly reccommendable!

    I always return here every time I visit. Even though it’s a 15-20min walk from the train station. Or you can take the bus. The staff are always polite, helpful and are patient when I am speaking in German. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Breakfast is always good and the hotel always have my non dairy products ordered for my visit.
