The hospitality is next level, the staff is so friendly and kind. The room is very clean, the bed is very comfortable. And the hotel is a quiet place i didn't hear any loud people making noise. Very good place to be . By the way I forgot my ID over there thay call me on whatsapp to tell that I had left my ID behind. Honest people really a very good staff they didn’t even want to take the tips i was given them and still provided a very professional welcoming Thank you guys i will be back for sure.

The location is eleven minutos from Playa Macao, the best beach to enjoy the ultimate Dominican experience. On top of that the small cottage is partially made of Palma Real, an authentic farm home from Quisqueya Bella. The entire family serve as hosts. You are not a turist; you are family to them. Sam, the manager and one of the executive chefs, went above and beyond to ensure that my dad and I felt truly at home during our stay in Punta Cana/DR. Sam took the initiative to arrange memorable excursions for us multiple times throughout the trip (coordinating pick-up times and locations, packing breakfasts/snacks before leaving) and upon learning of my passion for cooking, Sam generously offered to provide me with a personal cooking lesson, showcasing a level of hospitality that exceeded all expectations. I've been staying at Hostal Johnnier for a whole month and got something to tell. The hosts Anjelica and Jorje are awesome -- the most hospital hosts I have met so far in my travels. Taught me a lot of funny spanish words! Were nice and attentive. They put I really enjoyed Bueno Desayuno breakfasts - the fruits, and eggs with toasts charged me with the energy for the whole day. A great caffee nearby (Marina/Alex place) is also an advantage. Great quality/price, open 8-24, everything is tasty, highly recommended. A nearby shop (Mercado Perla) is good, did not have problems buying things I needed. A beach is quite close with a 5-minute walk, there you will find all you need - the Sand and the Ocean. Its generally windy, but that is great when its hot. It is important that it is safe to wander alone even for the female guests, unlike some of the other public Dominican beaches. The people who were staying there were awesome, too. I have a theory that everyone goes there because of positive reviews and looking for a good company - well, there always was someone to have a small talk with, I even made some friends there I could meet any other time! Free secret bonus are dogs. I don't like dogs, but those ones were safe and friendly.

We do not usually go to all inclusive hotels, but this was a very nice experience for us - the staff was very accommodating, and everyone was greeting us each time they passed next to us. There are 4 restaurants that you can choose from for dinner, and all of them are pretty solid (the French option was our favorite). We had a swim up room, so we had access to a joint pool that we shared with our neighbors, but it still felt pretty private. The jacuzzi is connected to the pool, so it is not heated, it is just a little tub with jets with pool water - not a big problem, but it is something to note. In our room we had two shower heads, and at first it was odd, but this kind of shower experience is very intimate, and it is a big plus in my book. The room was big, and so was the bed. There was room service 24/7 and we ordered lunch, that was very good on one of the days. Each room also has a little cabinet in the closet that is connected to the hallway and the staff can pick up the dishes from there.

    Higuey is a quiet and clean city. We visited a few Restaurant, ate at D'Yira the food was good and the price not bad. The City doesn't have much traffic, so it's easy to drive around. we visited a few bars and it was entertaining. Also visited the Cathedral Nuestra Senora de la Altagracia. Impressive.

    The basilica is definitely a sight to see if you're on your way to Punta Cana. It's not that far out of the way and very easy to get to. Just get off the freeway and follow the main road right into town. The architecture, inside and out, is so different from any other church you've seen. Very cool!

    We visited Boca de Yuma and had the most delicious local...

    We visited Boca de Yuma and had the most delicious local fish for lunch at La Bahia restaurant. We highly recommend it. We also visited the Basilica de Higuey and took a stroll in town. But the best part of our trip was the stay at Campito Loving. The hospitality from Nicole, Mechy and the rest of the staff was superb. The food (breakfast was included and we also enjoyed a couple of lunches and dinners) was delicious! Quite a treat. This is a place to return in future trips to Santo Domingo.
