The stay at Abdu’s houseboat was nothing but mind blowing. I stayed in the houseboat for 5 days with my mother. Abdu did not help us arrange everything in terms of tours (to Filae, Abu Simbel, a Nubian village, the botanical garden and more) and activities (Falluca sailing, Zaraha sand meditation, bird watching trip, exploring the Souk, swimming in the Nile, transfer to Luxor via Edfu and Kom Ombo and more), he also helped us with his second smaller boat to get everywhere, assimilate to the local culture by clothing and customs, cooked for us (he also made sure all food was well washed), helped us donate goods and clothes to the local school, and assisted us in getting tickets for the night train from Luxor to Caïro and simcards). His houseboat has everything you need for an authentic stay. Our cabin was spacious enough for the two of us and had an amazing view over the Elephantine Island. The terraces was facing the beautiful botanical garden on Kitchener Island. Due to the placement of the boat you have some shade in the morning and you can enjoy the sunset in the evening. If you look for a real experience and want to dive in the culture and day to day livestyle on the Nile, the boat is definitely something for you. We are truly great full for our experience and can definitely recommend a stay on this lovely houseboat!

We had a wonderful experience at Nala Narty. The place is truly incredible, located on a small island in the Nile and surrounded by nature, it feels like a hidden gem. The view from our room was like a painting, just as beautiful as in the photos, waking up to that every morning was unforgettable. Sherief was exceptional: extremely attentive, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. He took the time to suggest and help us organize visits, shared great local tips, and was always available when we needed anything. He was incredibly accommodating to all our needs and really made our stay smooth and enjoyable. What a beautiful hotel! Stunning property, stunning views and such great attention to detail everywhere you look! The staff are really friendly and were eager to help us during our entire stay with any needs we had. And they were not expecting tips like in the rest of Aswan, they were doing it because they genuinely wanted to help which was very much appreciated! Our room was beautiful, spacious, and we were so pleased to see that we had a jacuzzi on our balcony, with a beautiful view of the Nile - wow! The location is remote which is so relaxing and away from the bustle of Aswan but still within easy distance to get there, and the staff can book you a boat to get to the other side as long as you give them 30 mins notice and it is a free service. The breakfast was also good!

The hotel was located right on the Nile in the Nubian village. Mahmoud the chef was an amazing chef and a great guy. He helped us arrange transport and anything else we needed. Selim the owner was a too notch guy as well helping us set up a cruise to Luxor. This hotel and the people there has made our trip so much better. We recommend them to anyone staying in the Aswan area. 10/10

Wonderful quiet location high up above the town of Aswan with amazing view. Our rooms were in the ground floor with wide terraces and comfy outdoor seating. There was a small pool beside our room which was so refreshing with fluffy towels and sun loungers. The rooms were spacious modern and clean with crisp bed linen, small seating area. Bottles of water provided and plates of fruit and sweet treats refreshed daily. There was a small bar area which served beer, wine etc. Staff were really excellent. An early start one morning we were given breakfast boxes, all ready when we arrived at reception. It was great value for money for2 rooms B&B for 2 nights. Loved it and highly recommend this hotel.
