I had the privilege of staying at Longchamps for a total of five nights and left it with the best impressions and memories. The hotel is situated centrally and yet offers peace and quietness. It was comforting to retreat there after a day on the noisy and stressful streets of Cairo. The rooms are spacious, newly refurbished and decorated tastefully as is indeed the hotel overall. I wish to emphasize the particular cleanliness of the rooms and of its several premises. I very much appreciated and enjoyed the veranda of the hotel both in the morning, when breakfast is served there, and during the evenings as it’s the perfect spot to relax. As regards breakfast, I tried the oriental breakfast on the first morning of my stay and got stuck with it. It is not only delicious, but also very nutritious; in fact, we skipped lunch every day during our stay in Cairo. Abdulrahman introduced me to various sorts of Egyptian cheese and to other domestic delicacies and conversing with him was interesting and pleasant. Overall, the personnel is possibly the real highlight of Longchamps! Everyone, in all positions, are very polite, friendly and helpful. I would like to thank them all very much for making our stay at the hotel such a remarkably beautiful experience!

There was a quiet magic to our time at Numero CINQ — from the soft glow of the garden in the evening to the calm comfort of its tastefully appointed interiors. It's rare to find a place that so perfectly captures both the chic allure and hearty spirit of Cairo. A majestic stay we’ll be sure to return to soon.

Great location which is close to everything and located in a a quite unique area (Zamalek). Reception staff were super helpful and friendly. Location was great, in a very nice residential area of Caito, fra from the noise and crowd of the old town. Lots of restaurants, bars, shops, all few steps away from the hotel. Very safe to hang out to also. Cleaning was always spot on and done when it was more convenient to us. At the last floor of the building there is a very cool rootftop bar / restaurant, where we had drinks and food more than once. The view from the room was incredible, espeically at night. Reception, the manager and the entire staff were very accommodating and helpful. They even let us stay longer on the last day with no cost for late checkout. Would chose Riverside again for my next stay
