Every detail, every corner was furnished with care and love. You could feel that Lar de Vies is not just a rural complex, but an experience on their own. Nacho, the place's owner, is just the type of host every guest would wish. Kind, helpful, respectful and always wary in case something happens. Our stay at Lar de Vies was simply outstanding. The house is wonderful, lovingly converted into a real family holiday home full of character and quirkiness. It has large rooms with lots of light, a courtyard with a lovely covered terrace, views and everything you need for a pleasant stay and more. Like a fantastic public swimming pool around the corner!

This is a tiny village up in the mountains. It is a place to relax, connect with nature and enjoy the peace and quiet. That said it is only a short distance with easy access to Asturias gems including the cathedral beach and displays of local artisans skills. I went to take photographs and wasn’t disappointed, landscape, wildlife, woodland, it is all there. As for the hosts, nothing is too much. You arrive a stranger and leave a friend as they say, the local cuisine is exceptional in their restaurant overlooking the valley. In short this is an experience you won’t forget. Loved it

Both the interior and exterior of the Casa are beautiful. The sitting room with open fireplace was a joy and a fabulous space to sit with friends while enjoying some wine and snacks. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable, towels were white and fluffy.

The friendly people, owner José and his wife were very nice and helpfull. The room was spacious as well as the bathroom, good shower with no slippery floor and a bench to sit on or put your clothes on. Good towels. Very clean. Wifi in the room (room 1) The whole hotel and restaurant were very clean and tidy, no cigarette-ends or precies of paper anywhere inside or out. Lots of parking space. Good food. Our compliments José and wife!!
