We are very happy when we are in Carlos III. Having fun, the staff is super friendly, we always have fun with the owners, the breakfast at Clendy very relaxed, the bed is super comfortable and the location top. Sorry the weather was not so good, but even the brothers at Carlos could not change that 🤪😀

Superb situation, lovely balcony and easy access to the promenade. Owners very helpful in providing extra duvets we requested. Recommend using the private parking behind the apartments to avoid careless motor scooters damaging your vehicle when parked in Calle Iberia.

    A great, largely spanish town with a really atmosphere. Two wonderful beaches and plenty of bars and restaurants. All facilities available including out of town shopping centre. Parking can be an issue (can parking free in areas with white road marking).

    A beautiful location.

    A beautiful location. This is such a nice place because it is authentically Spanish which is the reason I visit Spain. Lovely tapas and a great variety of Soanisg restaurants. The beach is beautiful and we had some lovely runs along the beachfront. Very peaceful

    Aguilas is a very Spanish town, catering mostly for Spanish visitors. There are virtually no "tourist"restaurants, just Spanish ones that do not do sandwiches etc. Some of the cafes near the centre do such food, but they were a 30 minute walk from the hotel. Don't get me wrong, we ate very well at night, with a few "is this really what I ordered" moments related to our inability to read Spanish menus. Some great bars and heladerías in the main part of town. Bar La Mina has a great selection of beers. Missing my daily cortado already.

    The long promenade is good to walk along, it has great views. The castle is interesting to see but the climb up to it is quite difficult for children or seniors. The town is quite small but nice to walk around

    Everything was great.....

    Everything was great..... One think let's the town down...restaurants were of course very Spanish. We just thought they could offer more European dishes Our biggest disappointment was when asking for a menu they point at a QR code...we left several restaurants because of this ( so they lost good customes)....they should at least have some printed copies available...

    It is an attractive resort with a great castle (the walk up is difficult and not recommended for those with mobility issues) and pleasant port and central area. I visited in low season (March) so it was quiet although all the bars and restaurants were open. There are only a few things to see or do in the town but the promenade walks are lovely with great views, The coastline is interesting for drives, best places nearby are the Castle at San juan de los Terreros and the odd beach at Los Cocedores. All the usual Spanish supermarkets are in the town but the one hypermarket Carrefour is below standard compared to others in Spain, and the attached mall is awful with virtually all the shops seemingly closed down and only one small cafe. Outside of the mall there are a Burger King and Popeyes, both really terrible and best avoided. There is an excellent Indian restaurant in San Juan de los Terroros (Tandoori Palace) just a few km south.

    A good hotel, that is very central to everything in Aguilas. Close to the beach, the main plaza, and the shops. The bed was very comfortable, and the TV was good and large and also had Netflix. We went to the restaurant near the castle, Zoco del Mar , which was vey good, and easy to get to from the hotel. The staff were friendly, and helpful, the breakfast in the nice cafe next door was good too. We would return here if staying in Aguilas, gracias.

    Excellent location, just next to the beach and the promenade. Lots of places to park the car including the open space car park in the "harbour" few steps from the hotel (not free of charge though). The rooms in the hotel are spacious, mine had a huge shower. Comfy bed. Good breakfast.

    It is a simple, low key, clean small hotel. The huge selling point is its location right on a little sheltered beach. You go to sleep with the sound of the waves which is just lovely.
