Absolutely everything was great , check-in process with Pepe was nice and easy mad us feel very welcome and helpful, accommodation is so clean not a blemish any where at all , great roof terrace to chill on in the evenings nice views , also free tea and coffee all the rooms have a full size fridge and aircon , bathrooms nice and modern . Very helpfull and social and sweet owners. Manuel replied extremely fast by app. They made us feel very much at home. Left some drinks in the fridge as a welcome. Great apartment with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. And kitchen. And balcony. So we cooked one evening. The beds are fantastic. Digital Alexa guide you if you have questions or need information. Bar next door. Free parcing in front of the apartment. The location is only 25 minutes driving to Caminito del Rey. A sweet neighbourhood cat visit the apartment often and feels there very much at ease. We send him away. It was really a big pleasure to be guests here. I recommend it highly! It was fantastic!

    A typical Andalusia white village, great facilities including shops, restaurants, banks, a castle with some wonderful walks. Be aware the train station is on the outskirts of the village. We have been coming to Alora for over 15 years and continue to enjoy the village & sounding area.

    It has stunning views and is very Spanish. It's not really a tourist hot spot, so there are far more locals than visitors, which in my opinion is very welcome. Good mixture of bars and restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Close to stunning walks and hikes.

    Alora is a fabulous place.

    Alora is a fabulous place. A bit hilly but after a few days we were up the steep slopes like a 16 year old. Plenty of options for food and bars but you will easily find 'your local' People are friendly and if you need help there'll be someone yo help you out. Easy transport to Malaga and every where but Alora has everything for day to day living..

    very traditional whitewashed villge come small town. A couple of interesting historic sites. Doesn't really cater for tourists in the evenings - takeaway or chinese is about it. Transport needs to be looked at carefully so you don't get stuck somewhere you can't easily get back from.

    We booked for a week, but if staying longer, would have travelled further afield by train, to see more of the area. Plenty taxis nearby to get to and from the railway station. Alora is a hilly village, we took a taxi up to the Castle and walked back. Went to the bakers every morning for fresh bread, and the various fruit shops to get our fruit, and two quite big well stocked supermarkets, and a butcher shop

    Been staying in alora for 20 years as we have family there bars and resturants are all around lots of shops to buy grocerys train station within walking distance if you want to go to malaga shopping you can also get train to ronda or the lakes millas bar which is less than 10 mins serves english breakfast also evening meals .parada bar serves tapas which is all fresh caught fish we love going to alora

    Emile and Ethel were very hospital and helpful. We were grateful for the delicious paella for a birthday dinner. Our stay was in mid-December so at daytime it was warm and sunny as is and at night we used a heater and it was enough for a cozy sleep. The views from the terrace were absolutely spectacular. It felt like a bit of an ascetic hotel in nature as there was everything that's needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend such an experience if you need urban detox as it couldn't be better!

    The place was full of inspirational art and features. I loved the pad and the garden, although didn't use the jacuzzi, sauna or sit pool as we were out and about so much. Alora is a beautiful place with friendly people. ARTEstacion is a perfect base. It's situated close to the station which is useful. Alvor is quite a climb but there are buses and taxis and the walk down is really easy. Hosts were very helpful. My friend and I enjoyed our stay and would love to return one day.

    The location is great if you want to get away from the noise and enjoy some time in the nature. The cabin is located in a very peaceful area roughly 10 minutes by car from Alora. The sunsets are beautiful. The wooden cabin looks great, it is very spacious, and equipped with everything you might need. Jane is a very kind host who gave us some useful tips. There are great hiking options nearby.

    Comfy beds in a spotlessly clean room. Safe place inside the building to store our two bicycles. Friendly owner who spoke excellent English. Nice touch having a coffee machine and fridge in the room. Good internet. Excellent value for money. Liked the hotel so much that we stayed another night. We would happily stay here again.
