It was an amazing stay, the house is beautiful and the food delicious! We felt taken care of right from the start, till the very end. Wonderful hospitality, thank you! It’s also very close to Camino, was a nice treat on our last night before reaching Santiago de Compostela :)

The hotel exceeded expectations in every way. The rooms are clean, modern, and incredibly relaxing, with comfortable mattresses and high-quality pillows that guarantee a good night’s sleep. Everything feels fresh and well-maintained, reflecting the hotel’s newer construction and excellent upkeep. The facilities are up to date, thoughtfully designed, and provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, making the overall experience smooth and enjoyable. Whether it was a quick request or general advice, they were consistently responsive and professional. Another major plus is the on-site parking, which adds convenience for guests traveling by car.

The location next to the cathedral is unbeatable, so is the warm room (early March is chilly in Santiago), the comfortable bed, the lovely and welcoming lady at reception, the rain shower, the umbrellas for free use ... We'll be back!

Central location (right in the old town). Very efficient use of space throughout the room. Sound proofing through out the hotel plus beautiful double bed will mean you will get an excellent nights sleep. Very tasty breakfast with a very warm pleasant host. High standards maintained throughout the hotel. Definitely will be back.

It was my second time in Rua Villar, and I love the hotel. It is a beautiful setting at an excellent location just next to the cathedral. The breakfast is excellent. The hotel is very flexible in their arrangements (e.g early breakfast to leave for the camino to Finisterre).
