very charming and hospitable, despite freezing weather and very little notice of my arrival. The bedroom was warm and welcoming. The evening meal was simple yet outstanding.

Although not a modern hotel Tierra de Lobos had everything we needed for our stay. We were greeted by host Victoria who was extremely helpful. Breakfast was simple but adequate, the fresh orange juice was lovely. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the beautiful river. A steep walk up into the town was well worth it as the old town is amazing.
