    A wonderful Spanish town. Not to touristy.

    A wonderful Spanish town. Not to touristy. The people (who we met) were wonderful and welcoming, from shop owners and workers to the cafe and Restaurant people. One local man, when we were lost, took us 8 miles, out of his way to an office that we had to get to. Thank you who ever you are. We were welcomed into a fiesta and had a wonderful time. Don't just stick to in town, the countryside around Benissa is beautiful working countryside. Thank you Benissa.

    safe, welcoming spanish village.

    safe, welcoming spanish village. All amenities that you could wish for. Free busses to the beach and municipal swimming pools. lots of play areas for young children. 10 mins from calpe and 10 mins from moraira both have beautiful golden sandy beaches and as many restaurants as you can ever imagine. we stayed in august and hate the hustle and bustle of tourists so to stay in the village and just dip in and out of the major towns around us was the perfect balance.

    We really enjoyed our stay in Benissa.

    We really enjoyed our stay in Benissa. The coastal portion is a quiet retreat; it is 3 minute walk from Algi market a very nice supermarket with all essentials, great wine choice and fresh meat counter. Also near by (2-3 min walk via front costal path with some stairs) is Madala beach club which is stunning and very tasty restaurant and Beachclub La Fustera, also a very nice smart casual lunch restaurant. Moraira is 15 minute drive north along coast and Calpe is ten minute drive south along coast. We did not hire a car; it would be useful to have done so and there is a big drive way at the house for free parking. The roads are good quality with good views.

    Staying in Fustera was great as we were out of Calpe, so it was quieter. WE could drive into Calpe in ten minutes though. We were walking distance away from restaurants and bars, as well as a supermarket, beach and dive centre.

    Benissa and the surrounding area is very hard to beat.

    Benissa and the surrounding area is very hard to beat. The beaches,the mountains, the people are fantastic. There are wonderful restaurants for all price ranges,you are spoilt for choice.we liked Calpe to walk the beach,if you are feeling fit then you can climb the rock Penon de ifs head, which we have done, the view is amazing and well worth th effort. They do say that the area is the most healthy on the planet,and we would have to agree.and if you plan your holiday well you can enjoy the festivals which are unbelievable,especially Moraria.

    We loved Benissa and the coastal walk from La Fustera beach to Calpe beach. La Fustera beach is well worth the visit and recommended to spend time to relax. Or do some snorkelling and paddle boarding. Also ideal to start the coastal walk to Calpe.

    The complex and apartments are absolutely beautiful and we loved every second of staying here with family and friends for our wedding at a nearby venue. The pool area is beautiful and peaceful and quiet which is exactly what we wanted. Only a 10/ 15 minute walk to the nearest shop, beach and a fantastic beach bar& restaurant . A car is advisable if wanting to travel further a field. Josè the Owner/ manager was very accommodating with our requests for late check outs.

    Friendly welcome. Small hotel with lovely view from rooms and terrace. Nicely situated on unspoiled stretch of coast. Ample free parking. Good breakfast and very reasonably priced evening meals. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Very different from the concrete hotel towers down the coast. A rare find which recalls the pleasure of what travelling in Spain used to be like. Strongly recommended.

    Location very good, just in a minute from the beach, car parking nearby the property free. From the location starts "Paso ecologico" - nice walking path to Calpe. Owners very nice and friendly. Property has a nice yard with pool and jacuzzi, which you can use. Rooms equipped very well.

    Overall very good staying here, nice pool area with lots of accessories and perfect social areas. Location is fine with access to a nearby beach with a beach club. Bakery and Restaurant next door. We traveled with small children and they had a blast.
