It is a beautiful place in a small city on the Camino trail. It has a small pool and a few sun chairs, owner is a kind person and you can see they take care of the property. The house is nicely decorated and it really feels like home, not a hotel. There is also a fridge with beers and wine for glasses, which one can buy at the property, which I think is an excellent idea!

The lodging is very new and quite easy to stay in.

The lodging is very new and quite easy to stay in. The beds were comfortable, it was a safe area. The kitchen was decent, the air conditioning worked well (important during this stay as it was hot in CdR). It seemed to be quiet so getting a good nights rest was easy. There are dining amenities very close and there is also a produce market if you are inclined to make your own food! The wifi was a little dodgy at times. We used the washing machine and the clothes drying rack which made our stay there very productive.

A great place to stay for the Camino. Very helpful locals good restaurants and supermarkets the girl in the information bureau was so helpful when I asked if she could call speak in Spanish to the host of our apartment when we could not get the link to work so helpful. would visit again as Caldes de Reis had a good vibe

There was a good street market when we arrived around...

There was a good street market when we arrived around lunchtime. It was really difficult to find a place that would serve a meal in the early evening. Finally, we found Bar La Catedral Del Sabor, very near our hotel. The owners are lovely and we had a good meal there. They have a stamp for the Camino passport also. The bridge on the Camino, as it leaves Caldas da Reis, is very picturesque.

Caldas de Reis is a stopover for the people walking the "Camino de Santiago". Very quite and small town with lots of hostels and hotels for the walkers. Best restaurants - O Loureiro and O Muiño

It's a nice small town, very charming and picturesque. Nice parks to walk around, plenty of restaurants and cafes. It's small so easy to get around by walking. Did not partake of the hot springs but this town definitely famous for them.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village. There is a 30-minute walk to a waterfall that I wanted to take but it was too hot that afternoon. It was too hot to take advantage of the hot pools as well. It would have been nice to stay another day here, take a rest day. The restaurants looked really nice as well.

Excellent location on Camino route. Was raining when we arrived and we got wet walking to our room as it wasn’t in the main hotel building but was in a row of one storey rooms about 150 yards walk from the hotel. Room came with spa access which was excellent. Also very large heated pool & small thermal pool were wonderful.

This hotel is clean, comfortable and located right on the Camino trail. The check in was easy and the host was kind and helpful. Everything we needed was available in the room, from toiletries and a hair dryer to numerous posts to hang our clothes. I also loved that both windows opened. Great stay at a decent price.

Oh my God this place was a perfect refuge on the Camino. It was so clean and lovely. I had a GREAT relax here and an even better sleep. Highly recommend staying here in Caldas de Reis. The key fob opening a cupboard for your own fridge and dishes was genius too.
