Everything was amazing. Beautiful host, awesome room, comfortable bed and great facilities. The pool was great for my tired legs. Lovely spot to chat and enjoy a drink with fellow pilgrims. The journal to write in was a special touch too.

Ideal for up to four or even five pilgrims or for a family to share, cook own food and having your flat for your own. Even the beds in bunk beds where good to sleep. Add on for guests. Have a clother Look at the prices in a bearby Restaurant. Charging 9 Euro for a small wine let us feel not welcome in the town.. Nothing to do with this great place, but dont want pilgrims and tourists to be misstreted. So enjoy your Camino!

The lodging is very new and quite easy to stay in.

The lodging is very new and quite easy to stay in. The beds were comfortable, it was a safe area. The kitchen was decent, the air conditioning worked well (important during this stay as it was hot in CdR). It seemed to be quiet so getting a good nights rest was easy. There are dining amenities very close and there is also a produce market if you are inclined to make your own food! The wifi was a little dodgy at times. We used the washing machine and the clothes drying rack which made our stay there very productive.

A great place to stay for the Camino. Very helpful locals good restaurants and supermarkets the girl in the information bureau was so helpful when I asked if she could call speak in Spanish to the host of our apartment when we could not get the link to work so helpful. would visit again as Caldes de Reis had a good vibe

There was a good street market when we arrived around...

There was a good street market when we arrived around lunchtime. It was really difficult to find a place that would serve a meal in the early evening. Finally, we found Bar La Catedral Del Sabor, very near our hotel. The owners are lovely and we had a good meal there. They have a stamp for the Camino passport also. The bridge on the Camino, as it leaves Caldas da Reis, is very picturesque.

Caldas de Reis is a stopover for the people walking the "Camino de Santiago". Very quite and small town with lots of hostels and hotels for the walkers. Best restaurants - O Loureiro and O Muiño

It's a nice small town, very charming and picturesque. Nice parks to walk around, plenty of restaurants and cafes. It's small so easy to get around by walking. Did not partake of the hot springs but this town definitely famous for them.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village. There is a 30-minute walk to a waterfall that I wanted to take but it was too hot that afternoon. It was too hot to take advantage of the hot pools as well. It would have been nice to stay another day here, take a rest day. The restaurants looked really nice as well.

Overall we were very happy with the room. Check in was coordinated via Whatsapp so we never met the owner, but this was not an issue. The room was neat, clean and well-presented. There is a single shared bathroom with shower for the whole floor but we never had to wait. In the kitchen we had access to a fridge/freezer which was very welcome! The location can’t be beat- right in the centre of Caldas de Reis, in short walking distance of restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

Lovely boutique Hotel on the main thoroughfare through Caldas de Reis. If you need peace and quiet from the main road, request rooms at the back. The host was very lovely - we communicated through gestures and smiles as neither of us could speak each other's language. There is a lovely garden at the back with a swimming pool to relax around. There was an honesty box for any alcoholic drinks you had, but soft drinks and coffee were free. The rooms were comfortable.

This is a fantastic place in Caldas de Reis, just off the Camino. Certainly when we booked it, it represented really good value for money. The apartment is at the top of the block, which gave us nice views, but the real draw was the fact it was clean, well-looked after and met all our needs.
