Perfect breezy spot at the top of the white village. No need for air-con or fans because mountain breeze made for excellent sleeps. Host has made very creative use of small kitchen so perfect for cooking and eating outside with stunning views of village ... and the swifts and vultures. Host checked regularly to make sure we had everything we needed.

This is a beautiful modern apartment directly opposite the beach. It is spacious and bright and the panoramic views of the sea from the huge balcony and the solarium are amazing! The host, Patricia, is lovely and gave us a warm welcome. We would definitely stay here again and thoroughly recommend this apartment.

    This is by far the best apartment we have ever stayed in!

    This is by far the best apartment we have ever stayed in! The location is stunning, but all the personal touches by the hosts were unbeatable. You can tell they really look after the property you could stay there for a month. Drinks, sweets etc there when you arrive but the apartment has everything you could possibly need. Fully equipped kitchen even has an air fryer, kettle, toaster, cooker, microwave, washing machine and ample cutlery etc. Literally everything you could need. The decor is amazing and even had games for the kids. The garden area is amazing you can chill out and then a few steps and you are in the pool which is fab and so well looked after. The hosts are so attentive and are available if you have any questions. The beds are so comfortable and bathrooms fully equipped. I can't say enough about this property, we have already booked for next year for the only slot available. It's a 15min walk to the seafront with plenty of bars and restaurants and a bit further to the harbour. Perfect location can't wait to go back!!

    A lovely host, rightfully proud of his super property.

    A lovely host, rightfully proud of his super property. Several good restaurants within easy walking distance and others down in Casares village which demand an interesting but steep walk back.Outstanding views from the terrace by day and even after dark give visitors endless photo opportunities.

    An excellent rental condo with the most beautiful views of...

    An excellent rental condo with the most beautiful views of the city and the valley below. The condo is in excellent condition with all the amenities you want. The owner, a very pleasant and kind person, makes breakfast for you in the morning. We had a very nice conversation. My wife and I can warmly recommend this property in Casares. KH Lyhne

    It’s a little out of the way from things normally I don’t...

    It’s a little out of the way from things normally I don’t mind a short walk but far too hot in August with kids in tow to walk in the heat. Luckily we hired a car and went to lots of other local beaches as buses were few and far between. I wouldn’t stay this far away from A town again in the heat of summer. Would have spent far too much in taxis.

    Very pleasant area much quieter than say Estepona but close enough to Estepona to be able to enjoy that beautiful little town.Good choice of nearby restaurants/bars .Adequate food shops close by for self caterers.Lovely uncrowded clean beach.

    This is not in Casares, the white hilltown.

    This is not in Casares, the white hilltown. This is in Casares Costa, a mile from the beach and close to the Finca Cortesin luxury hotel and golf resort. It is a new property, very clean and the aparment was very roomy. You have to have a car and it is in a residential area with other new apartment/condo developments surounding it.

    The Villa was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed to feel at home. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms and terraces were excellent. Location and views are incredible. There was a nice pool with plenty of sun loungers and amazing views. Within walking distance to the village with some excellent restaurants and a short drive to all the sites we wanted to see. We would Highly recommend this wonderful villa to anyone visiting Casares in Spain.

    Staying at the el hogar de Lucia was one of the highlight of our vacation. It is just as beautiful place as on the pictures. Of course we loved the views from the house towards Casares, the decaration of rooms, that they took care of every little detail, like placing cuted flowers into every room.

    The apartment offered the necessary facilities in a compact form. It was easy to settle in the owner being exceptionally friendly and helpful person. It was a good base for a short while to explore Casares and other destinations in its beautiful surroundings.

    The hotel is stunningly beautiful and the entire experience was very slick. Staff were eager to help and exceptionally well trained, in particular the dinner service staff in El Jardin. Nothing was too much trouble.
