We, my partner and I had just walked the 5 day camino to caravaca de la Cruz. She had problems with her feet which meant she was unable to walk far at the time. The owner, acknowledged that there had been a delay in breakfast and a few problems needed ironing out after only opening the hotel five days earlier… so imagine our surprise when he offered us a lift into caravaca and gave us a brief tour of his town. He did not have to do that. It shows good intentions and a good heart. We can’t thank him enough for that generous gesture. Give this hotel time to bed in and I think this will be an excellent place to stay.

The location was PERFECT. Everything was close by and there was a restaurant right below with very good food. The best part, was that the owners treated me like a guest in their house.

The apartment was excellent, location good! Our stay was spoiled on arrival, we had emailed arrival time three times, they actually phoned before arrival, yet when we arrived no one was there! We waited one hour then phoned, a lady came in half an hour. She let us in but obviously wanted to leave fast, there are conditioners and heaters but difficult to switch on. We phoned and her son came but he could not switch conditioner on. As Spanish houses are cold in winter it was none too comfortable! This wasted our first day as all afternoon was spent getting entry!

    Beautiful buildings in the old quarter.

    Beautiful buildings in the old quarter. There was live music in several places ranging from classical to modern. Great food in the restaurants in that area too. I recommend the food at bar El Sol and el Mesoncico. The views from nearby Paseo and Plaza del Castillo are beautiful too. I found that bars away from the old quarter, in the Gran Via, were too crowded and noisy.

    This was a cute boutique hotel in the heart of the town, comfortable bed, nice shower with good shower head, excellent breakfast. However the hotel is very hard to find. If a very helpful local hadn’t given me a ride, I’d still be circling the town on foot. Also, maybe I missed it in the listing, but there are two flights of very narrow stairs up to the rooms. I am a very fit 72 year old with a carry on sized suitcase and it was fine for me but others might find it very difficult.

    The traditional style of the accommodation is really special and it's location is amazing right at the top of cehegin. Bed was very comfortable and Jeronimo responded swiftly to queries and provided an escort to locate the property. He spoke good English and could explain any queries. There was also coffee and other essentials which were gratefully received. Cehegin is a beautiful place and the Bar El Sol provides excellent food.

    Convenient to the centre of Cehegin and nearby restaurants. On arrival we were met and shown around by a lovely lady who made us feel really welcome. The apartment was clean with comfortable beds and everything supplied for a self catering stay. Will definitely use this property again if visiting Cehegin..

    Hotel was Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but fresh. Staff very friendly. Only parking was not close. I didn’t have a big luggage so I was ok but with luggage I can’t even imagine how I would get there as is really hilly. All over my stay was great. Cehegin is beautiful city.
