Lovely resort!
Lovely resort! Small and walkable, with plenty of choice in terms of hotels and restaurants. This is a quieter resort than other areas of Ibiza and therefore geared towards families and older people, or those just looking for a quiet escape away from the big clubs. The beach is lovely, with plenty of sunbeds, and a few nice beach bars lining the bay. Solimar restaurant is a nice place to eat, and Charlie's bar has a great vibe in the evening. The ferry is a good option to take you places like Formentera, Santa Eulalia, or Ibiza Town - but there are also bus connections.Guest review byPegler - 10.0

It is a small. compact resort that provides for all ages from very young, to old (like us :)). We wanted and were able to get a peaceful break yet there were sports bars providing access to lots of sports, small fun fair for the children and a few decent restaurants. Lovely relaxing spot, nice beach and some tasty places to eat. A small town so expect mostly beach and food! Had breakfast and pastries at Restaurante Las Arenas / at their coffee shop and had wonderful service. Easy walk to hippie market for souvenirs. Bus terminal takes you to Ibiza town (and other towns en route) in about 40 mins *no need to change bus part way*. The staff were excellent and changed our towels twice during the week. We used buses to visit different parts of the island. The bus station in Es Canar provided us with a thorough bus timetable for the whole of Ibiza. The beach in Es Canar is good and perfect for swimming. The hotel is modest and has a nice family run feel to it, it also has its own private pool/lounging area which is lovely and secluded. The hotel restaurant was great. The location is pretty remote, so you have to drive or get taxis to visit the rest of the island, but this is a bonus if you want somewhere chilled and pretty!
