We are frequent travelers and I must say that Casa Doňano is one of the best we have experienced in Europe. The house has a mystical atmosphere, it is a wonderful and sensitive reconstruction of a rural historical building with the corresponding equipment. It filled us with positive energy there. The owners (a lady from Brazil and a gentleman from Holland) were very kind and helpful, and at the same time they were extremely pleasant communication partners for us. We loved our stay. The room was great and the view out over the water from the balcony was lovely. We enjoyed the walk into and past Foz Noelia was really helpful with providing recommendations, both in and around Foz and for the next stages of our trip in Galicia

Even with the on-site restaurant closed for the winter, the owner provides delicious meals for dinner. I really appreciated it as I was traveling around the area during the day and it was great to have a good meal and a few drinks on my return.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The host was incredibly welcoming, kind, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged — you can really tell they care about their guests. And the breakfast was absolutely amazing! Fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented — it truly made our stay even more special.

The room was lovely and clean and we had a good breakfast with delicious homemade cake. The host was super friendly and welcoming and gave us all the info we needed about the surrounding area to make sure we had a wonderful stay. The hotel is near multiple beautiful beaches just a few minutes drive away and we swam in one where you could see the mountains from the sea!
