Great Parador for a break on the camino ! The village of Cruz de Tejeda is small, only 2 accommodation options. It is welcoming for all pilgrins. It’s not cheap, but de rooms are good - very clean and spatious. Also the Spa service are great for a relaxing afternoon. 🎟️ Booking in advance is mandatory. You can stamp your credentials there. We absolutely loved our garden view room! The room had a classic interior and all the necessities we needed. Had a lovely walk around the locals neighborhood at night before heading to the restaurant just across the road. Parking was convenient just in front of the hotel on the street. Breakfast had all we needed and really loved that they had foreign interns practicing their waiting skills at the breakfast table. Really lovely work-and-learn environment for those guys :)

Casa Azul is a charming proprety among the spectacular mountains, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped with everything necessary. Debbie and Carl are the best hosts one could wish for, always smiling, friendly and responsive -and let us not forget the two lovely co-hosts, the doggies Blue and Cassy who greeted us every morning with friendly tail wagging.
