Out of the tourist trap in the countryside. Lovely carefully and tastefully decorated place with a large pool that we could use privately during our stay. Dogs are welcome. Tonya is a friendly, enthusiastic and generous owner who personally welcome her guests. The bedrooms are large, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Beds are so comfy I would easily have left with the mattress! Tonya prepared dinner for us as we arrived late after a very long and dusty road trip, and she was very attentive to cater to our food intolerances needs. Breakfast is superb, plentiful, nutritious and delicious, served on the terrace in the shade. We were sorry to leave after our 2 nights there, as it is a place to rest and really be. And to come back to!

Our bed was comfortable and the sound insulation was good, so we slept well. We had our own private space, including a roof terrace, which was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. There was variety of things to eat, it was plentiful and pleasantly presented. Our hosts' attention to detail and our comfort was a refreshing change from many experiences. We did not feel like an intrusion in their home, rather that we were welcome. Contact was easy, friendly, yet respectful. The location surprised me: it was much more convenient as a base to explore the region than I had imagined. Access to the highway is simple and Loja is an easy ten minute drive. Loja has a few good restaurants. It is excellent value for money and I strongly recommend it.
