The hotel was lovely, light and airy with plenty of space. We had a large twin room with a large walk shower which is great for me as I am disabled The staff were all really courteous, polite and helpful. We tried out our Spanish, they were very patient. No Brits at the hotel which suits us! The beach view from our balcony was really lovely. The food in the restaurant was excellent quality, mostly very tasty, we made a couple of choices that weren’t so good but that’s our fault. There is a lovely garden to relax in and seating area in property for guests to sit. The decor throughout is outstanding and very tasteful. We walked to Boo and then Mogro is 1 stop away on the train. The owner is very pleasant and showed us where to start Camino next morning. It’s situated 18km from Santander making a great stop if you arriving late on the ferry from Portsmouth or departing early or mid afternoon on the return journey. To then find a 4 star hotel with a spa was a bonus - it helped my muscles immensely and the facilities were as expected from a 4 star hotel.
