We had a problem with the room the first night. The AC couldn't be adjusted and it was a fairly hot in the room. The staff offered us a free breakfast the next morning and free parking for the duration of the stay. They also arrange the change of the room. Great service.

I've travelled to more than 50 countries and this might actually be the best experience I've ever had at a hotel. The villa was absolutely wonderful. The staff was very friendly and spoke perfect English (my Spanish is unfortunately not great) and the facilities was light and clean. My room was amazing, big and clean and it had a wonderful view of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge and equally clean. I absolutely loved my room. I also spent some time at the pool in the afternoon which was also a nice experience. The villa is located on the other side of the old town but it's a nice walk, it took me about 20 minutes to reach the old town and the beach. Walking back at night felt safe. Also, this side of the city seemed to be more quiet which I enjoyed a lot. I opted to have breakfast at cafés in the city so I cannot comment on the breakfast, I did however get a decent breakfast at cafés in the city to a lower price than the cheapest option at the villa. All in all, I really loved my experience at the Villa Eugenia Boutique Hotel and if I go back to San Sebastian I will definitely book the same accommodation - if it's available. MUCHAS GRACIAS :)

I had the best sleep ever here: a super comfortable huge bed, a clean and very quiet room, and even a tea-tray. I was in heaven. The hosts were charming, and Marco was so helpful with practical advice about buses to catch and sights to see. Yes it’s a little way out from the old town, but it’s close to the surfing beach and plenty of nice cafes here too, with more reasonable costs. Highly recommended!

The breakfast is varied, ample and healthy!Something for all tastes. The hotel is located in an oasis just off the autoroute, next to a big shopping center, and a short drive from the coast. The attention to details at all levels is notable, rooms, beds, linens, in-room care products, space, friendliness of all staff. 5-star stay in a 3-star hotel. And super animal friendly! Check-in set the tone: reception was professional and genuinely warm. The lobby is beautiful, with a cinematic theme that nods to the building’s past. Classic movie-star photos and even a “red carpet” down the stairs. Our room was spacious and spotless; each room is dedicated to a film star (ours was Kirk Douglas), and the mattress was very comfortable. Breakfast was rich and varied with lovely service. Tasty options and made-to-order omelets. In the evenings, the dining room turns into a restaurant, which is convenient because there aren’t many dining options in the area at night. The underground paid parking is very handy (best to reserve in advance).

If you stay for a few days and want to explore the area and get involved with the local culture then this is the hotel for you. If you are just passing through and require an early and quiet evening then this probably isn't the place for you as you are above admittedly an excellent restaurant but unfortunately a little too noisy. Great location though with plenty of parking.

Charming, rustic property in the hills, about 20 minutes drive from San Sebastian. The road to the hotel is a bit difficult to identify and easy to miss but believe google maps and you'll get there! Food was excellent with large servings, so beware. Staff are multilingual (not all). We had the only bedroom with a balcony but it was well worth the extra. Go and stay there and enjoy the ambience.

Was very comfortable. Room was big enough and clean. Where also good sealed. Could not hear the road in front of the hotel. Was very happy with it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The kids were very happy with the room. The bed was very big and comfortable.

Amazing breakfast! Attantative and nice staff. very comfortable and cozy private spa area (1 hour is a bit short). Hotel is nicely situated in the hills of Oiartzun, nice walks and hikes, nice village with cozy bar, beautriful views.
