Joanna our hostess was wonderful and really made us feel welcomed and well cared for. she gave us good tips reg restaurants and beach recommendations and useful general suggestions. Bimba the faithful dog (and Aatu hotel police) also brightened up our stay at Aatu. quality breakfast too and generally lovely grounds and a well kept garden. definitely recommend!

The location is amazzzing. We loved San Rieja as a Cala. Small but cute. The decor is lovely, everywhere is clean. And the staff were unbelievably helpful - for booking restaurants on a busy week-end but especially whe we had a nightmare with our rental car.

The interior design is exquisite - rustic exclusivity in every detail. The old building is surrounded by a large blooming garden with plenty of places to chill out and a fresh pool. The location outside a village, surrounded by fields, add to the calm and friendly atmosphere. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of the food comes from their own garden. Breakfast was an experience. The lunch was also fantastic, another reason to return.

This is a charming and comfortable hotel right in the centre of Begur. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional welcome and hospitality of the staff. The room was very comfortable! The reserved car parking space in nearby car park was very handy for those with a car. The hot tub upstairs was a treat!

    The most beautiful stay at Hostal La Riera. A quaint family run business who went above and beyond for us during our stay. The room was spotless which made us even more comfortable and mini bar items were really well priced. The hotel is located in the most magical village and the area itself is beyond stunning. You wouldn't be disappointed visiting and staying here. We'd definitely be back if we're ever back in this part of Spain again. Thank-you so much for having us!

    We really enjoyed it! It is an amazing location, with plenty of space in our room and super breakfast. The location has a gorgeous terrace and a really nice interior. Calaliu is in the medieval village of Peratallada, which is in a beautiful, rural area and is a stunningly attractive village. The owners were super friendly, helpful and flexible. Overall a great experience !

    We had a fantastic time, Gloria and all were so accommodating and friendly. We felt most welcome, enjoyed our rustic room, and the cuddles with the 4 dogs. We also recommend to have dinner at the hotel, due to language barrier we did not know what to expect and it was super tasty and surprising. We absolutely loved our stay! And everything smelled so nice.

    If you have not been to Peratallada then you have missed out - superb. Hotel Aatu is superb and your hostess Joanna cannot do enough to ensure your stay is a good one. Every detail of your stay is catered for brilliantly. Breakfast is a highlight and you want for nothing. Just go - you will not be disappointed. Thanks Joanna
