The apartment was very clean and we had brilliant experience i was worried about security for my autistic child but was able to secure the terrace with a locked gate and that was an added bonus we rented a car and location was pretty central to everything and the host was lovely thank you for a brilliant stay

Everything was Great especially the owner of the apartment. He welcome us in the middle of the night bought for us sth to breakfast, is very kind and fast answer on WhatsApp 👍 and speak good English what also is +. The apartment is excellent equipped There is Everything what you need to have a pleasant holiday. The rooms are big, good two bathrooms, fast WiFi. The Catholic Churh is like 1 min from apartment. On the beach you have like 5 mins walk. Overall location is great. Highly recommend 👍

Absolutely super apartment. Clean, spacious and well equipped. Playa Honda is a lovely area, residential rather than tourist, so far less shops and restaurants than neighbouring resorts with a lovely beach. Easy bus transfer from airport (€1.40) with a 10 minute €10 taxi ride back. We were cycling, Playa Honda has a great (uphill) access up to the interior of the island.

Absolutely loved this place. Super clean, facilities as needed. The host was great at corresponding. Wifi perfect, shower powerful with enough hot water. Location 5 mins to the beach, bus stop and supermarket. Water, beer and wine in the fridge. Plus an added bonus, to show how thoughtful my host is, a Christmas tree.

    Playa Honda is quiet, and more residential, full of lovely...

    Playa Honda is quiet, and more residential, full of lovely locals.... beautiful walks along the beach front, easy access to shops, buses, restaurants etc... not a lot of tourists, so you can appreciate the culture more. Just love it. We enjoy walking, so a nice 40 minute walk takes you into Arrecife, or you can get a bus into Costa Teguise or Matagorda, hire a bike and cycle along the path both ways.... La Opera, Goliath's, Bechamell restaurants are lovely, good prices and lots of choice. It really is a piece of heaven on earth in Playa Honda.

    I like the locals, very friendly and helpful, it's a lovely, quiet area, lots of cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and shops, close to beaches and airport, not touristy, lots of public buses and taxis to easily take trips to other areas of the island.

    In my opinion this is one of the best locations on the...

    In my opinion this is one of the best locations on the island. It's very easy to get to and from the airport and even if you don't hire a car there are lots of bus routes into other cities and villages, such as Arrecife, Tias, Teguise, Puerto del Carmen and Playa Blanca. Also plenty of taxi ranks. It's a quick walk to the beach and lots of beaches to choose from, including dog-free ones. Lovely promenade along the front that is well paved and lit, you can walk along the coast for miles in either direction. There is enough going on in the evenings for me personally but the bars and restaurants are all quite low key. Most restaurants were traditional Spanish - tapas and seafood but there are also lots of Italian restaurants/pizzerias. It's the best of both worlds as if you want more lively/ entertainment/ dancing or to have a later night you can go to nearby Puerto del Carmen.

    A lovely everyday-spanish 'vibe' !

    A lovely everyday-spanish 'vibe' ! A quiet residential town on the coast with very easy access to Lanzarote airport as well as the rest of the island by bus / hire-car/ taxi. It's just 2 - 3 km away from airport ! Working spanish people / families live here .... so it is well-served by important services e.g. supermarkets, barber shops, bike hire, mobile phone / laptop repair etc. Small shopping mall ( Deiland Shopping Centre ) at one end of town. Not too many visitors from UK or the rest of Europe ..... but enough to meet and chat over an informal drink / meal etc ! Not too touristy ! Low rise white buildings. Easy access to well maintained promenade walk / cycle path with associated shops and cafes ..... which is relatively flat and runs from Costa Teguise through Arrecife and Playa Honda to Puerto Del Carmen ( about 25 km). Perfect for longer stays e.g. extended winter periods in apartments and houses away from hotels and mass tourism ..... but easy access to entire island for exploratory day trips.

    Playa Honda was just right for our family, not full of...

    Playa Honda was just right for our family, not full of tourists. Easy access to supermarkets peaceful ( very close to airport but noise wasn’t a problem) We hired a car and was able to visit other resorts easily but come back to some peace and quiet, fantastic views from the property although we lost the sun by mid afternoon over most of the outside area. Kitchen had excellent induction hob oven and microwave and a newish dishwasher but the cupboards and drawers were in a poor state. There was only AC in main bedroom other 3 bedrooms had fans but 2 of the bedrooms had NO external windows so I would imagine would be uncomfortable in summer. Beds not comfortable and covered in plastic, no mirror in our bedroom but we did have a window. The light switches were really confusing downstairs, and there were bare wires on the light in the outside dining area which was waist high so care is needed with children

    Playa Honda is a quiet resort, which very much suited my husband and myself. There are several sea edge restaurants, also used by local people. We loved the local feel of the area, it is not over commercialised, or tourist driven, again which we appreciated. When we walked to the local supermarket or shopping mall, we felt the local community atmosphere. In our opinion, it is an unspoilt area, which we loved.
