Everywhere on La Palma is slow to get to, as the roads are...
Everywhere on La Palma is slow to get to, as the roads are winding and there are few places that have access to the sea. Puerto de Tazacorte has a large, safe and sheltered beach and enough facilities to cater for most needs. The local restaurants are varied and reasonably priced. It's about 45 minutes drive from the airport, on good roads and traffic everywhere is light. The island as a whole really shows its volcanic origins and there are amazing views of ancient volcanoes and ones much more recent, including the extraordinary landscape formed by an eruption and lava flow in 2021.Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom
