We were given a lovely welcome by Daniel the chef, immediately we arrived he poured us both a glass of cool water which was so refreshing after our long walk from Vigo. He cooked us a delicious meal in the evening. We felt like royalty as we were only pilgrims staying that night. As Chivas in rural location and was vet quaint. Thanks for lovely stay

Perfect location, fantastic host who was very attentive to what ever I needed including luggage pick up arranged, all little extras, modern, fluffy towels, comfortable bed, 2 x reverse cycle aircon/heating ..can’t rate this highly enough. Price was reasonable .

This apartment was beautiful. It was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. The host was a lovely lady she had left us breakfast items, coffee pods and bottled water. The washing machine was an added bonus given we'd been walking for 4 days.

    The coastal view of REDONDELA is refreshing and offers an interesting backdrop of the place especially the towns and countryside we passed by walking from Vigo on our way to Santiago de Compostela. We wished we could have stayed a bit longer.

    The visitors center was a pleasant experience.

    The visitors center was a pleasant experience. We were given a map of the town and the top sites to see if you had the time. We walked through their main park and had hoped to walk to the beach that was one of their top attractions. Beautiful plants and birds nested in the marsh areas, and even though we didn't walk far enough to get to the beach we loved the nature that was there at the inlet.

    The only thing that disappointed me in Redondela, was a nearby restaurant "Casa Chano Restaurante". My son and I were very hungry and we were hoping for a "Pilgrim Menu". We walked in this restaurant and we were bowled over by the impeccable service. The lady even brought us complimentary empanadas. It seemed that two of the waiters spoke English. I was going for a fish dish that was under 15 Euros and my son had calamari that was reasonable. Well, they were out of the fish, so I pointed to a meat item. The large portion for a group is 35 Euro. The waiter said that I could have an individual portion for 12.50 euro. I was fine with that. We each had a beer and a flan for a dessert. I wanted to pay the bill so I gave my credit card and I was so pleased with the service that I gave $15 American dollars for a tip. One of the waiters who spoke English ran my card and it was not until I got back to my room that I had noticed that the bill was for 58 Euros. I was charged 35 Euros for the meat dish. I was flabbergasted as we were on a limited budget. I really felt it was only one person there because everyone else was exceptional. However, it did leave a sour taste.

    Most amazing host Augusto, met us at the door, took us into the share apartment and explained everything so well. A total of 4 couples can share this apartment (which used to be his Grandmother’s). The apartment has two bathrooms and plenty of room, you do not feel cramped. The apartment has been kept in his Grandmother’s style (older furniture) but it is spotlessly clean. Right in the Centre of Redondela. He even supplied a foot treatment for all the guests after a long day on the Camino Portuguese.

    Fantastic Hostal in Redondela. Everything was new and clean. Nacho was really friendly and professional, contacting me beforehand with main door access code, help with baggage and advice on the Camino route for the next day. The room was seemed like it was newly decorated, bed was comfortable and the window looked out on a lush, green area. Best stay of my Camino.

    Kind hotelier. We were dripping wet when we arrived and he didn’t seem worried about his floor and gave us newspaper for our boots! Large room, very clean, washing machine and dryer for small fee, small kitchen with coffee and breakfast cereals although no cooking facilities. Great location in the Old Town.

    Lovely apartment close to old Town in Redondela. Everyone in group loved it Really comfortable beds . Unfortunately we didn't get to use garden due to terrible rain but it looked lovely.. We were a group of 4 walking Camino so only stayed 1 night but it would be perfect for longer.
