Exceptional stay in the heart of the Pyrenees! We absolutely loved our time at Angelats Hotel. The property is stunning, full of history and charm, with breathtaking mountain views and beautiful surroundings. Diego and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the very first moment. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and decorated with great taste. Breakfast and dinner at La Santa were a highlight: delicious, creative, and beautifully presented. Perfect place for a relaxing and romantic getaway. Highly recommend!

This is a jewell of a place! Don’t get me wrong, it’s not luxurious, the room and bathroom was a bit dated, as is the whole place, we don’t mind that and everything is spotlessly clean and functional. The location is perfect: on the main street but set back from the road with room for a carpark and the restaurant/bar terrace. There is very much a ski chalet feel about the front of the hotel. The large Plane trees on the roadside keep the whole place nice and cool in the summer without it feeling dark and I couldn’t ask for a better terrace to sit out drinking on a hot afternoon. Reception was super friendly and familial. The older man was very helpful with my rubbish Spanish and the younger guy was eager to practice his very passable English, all done with smiles and laughter. I wish I could tell you their names. A vast difference from our later experience in the hotel along the road!! We had a very chilled hour on the terrace with a cold beer before a cool siesta followed by a delicious dinner in the restaurant. We stayed here on our way to Barcelona from our home in France. Sadly it was fully booked for our return trip.

Large apartment with two bedrooms with comfy beds and a nice view on the garden and the woods. At night, even in summer, it gets quite fresh. The kitchen is well equipped. The garden is fantastic if you have kids or you just want to read a book. The barbecue area is well organized too. The location is nice, next to the train station, a lovely bakery and a supermarket.

    The best of this little town is that you have peace, quiet and also places to go for dinner, coffee shops and very nice for a little town. Very close to Queralbs and also you have cremallera to go visit Vall de Nuria, really beautifull place. We went in September, nice weather, not to hot, not cold at all. Close to Queralbs, nice to visit, little town.

    What a lovely town in the middle of the mountains.

    What a lovely town in the middle of the mountains. Easy accessible by train from Barcelona, stops right in the town. Many options for accommodations and mountain treks all around. The river flows through the town so the sweet noise of the flowing water is just so relaxing

    Many hiking and running routes cross here, I think it also one of the last stops before Queralbs where you can buy supplies if you are going to hike there. The town itself is very nice, beautifully set and pleasant to stay at. There are surprisingly many cafes, bars, wine shops as well as stores selling local food, such as cheese, honey etc. There is also a small, historical cinema that is more than 100 years old, which we have yet to see. Be prepared that during the week most facilities close at 8 PM.

    Beautiful town with nice options for food and excellent...

    Beautiful town with nice options for food and excellent views of nature. Good surroundings with hiking routes and Vall de Núria right there! The town has some interesting history and old buildings like the castle ruins or the textle colony, church and the beautiful cremallera station and river.

    Wonderful little village with nice restaurants with homemade...

    Wonderful little village with nice restaurants with homemade local food. Great gourmet shops with cold meats, cheese and wine. The area is connected to some wonderful places by the cremallera train which is expensive but well worth it. You can spend some great relaxing days in the Catalan mountains enjoying the stunning views.

    Quiet well appointed room that was clean and comfortable. The reception was very helpful and had secure storage for my bike which I could access early the next morning. I dined at the hotel restaurant which was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay.
