We loved it here! We came from busy Barcelona, so this was a perfect quiet place to end our vacation. Lovely staff, personal approach. The rooms are nice. At the swimming pool they have a fridge where you can get your drinks and you write down what you took. If you want wine or prosecco, you can ask inside. On some days they opened a cocktail bar by the pool which we loved! Breakfast was also really nice.

We Made a last minute reservation and Rocio was incredible. Give is the code, the indications and a message to tell her if everthing is ok. The place is amazing but Rocio Made the real diference.     Very beautiful area. Lots of beach space, wonderful restaurants and stores and the people are extremely friendly. July and August are the busy season so be prepared for a little wait at the restaurants

    Perfect for a short, sunny, out of season late Spring or early Autumn break. No night clubs in evidence Looks like a fairl quiet spot on the Costa Brava, but…. Would avoid in high season! Visited Charming Llafranca , as well, just 30 mins up the coast.

    The area depends on the residents of the many high rise apartments so out of season it is quite dead. It is probably insane in July and August when the apartments are full and parking would be difficult

    This part of Costa Brava is the prettiest in Spain.

    This part of Costa Brava is the prettiest in Spain. Little sandy coves and pine trees tumbling down to the shoreline. La Fosca, LaFfranc, Sant Pol, Calella, Tamaru, Sa Tuna to name only a few of the most beautiful coves. Medieval villages are also worth a visit. Peratalada and Besalu are two of many. So picturesque, so many photo opportunities.

    The pool was great, the air con worked and the balconies were a decent size. The staff were really nice and kept our bags. The hotel is very very close to the beach so one cna just walk there in 10 seconds flat and the hotel restaurant means guests can just chill there and watch the world go by (the hotel restaurant staff were really nice). It was great value for money.

    I would definitely recommend Marakasa. The House vibe is great, cheerful and peaceful. Rooms are perfect and the host is very warm and kind. I loved the location, very close to the best spots in Costa Brava. Also, the breakfast was delicious!

    Beautiful hotel . It was a pity that due to staffing shortages ,reception was only manned for a límited time each day. Hoewever all the staff were superb -reception, restaurant and cleaners and always willing to help.
