A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive.     The property is really beautiful, the apartment had a great terrace where we could enjoy breakfast and meals. We traveled with out dog and there is an agility park in the garden, which was great. The swimming pool was very nice, too, not the typical hotel pool. It was integrated with the property's typical architecture and it was beautiful.

    A very pleasant place, with friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable, but the kitchen was a bit under-equipped—in terms of dishes and kitchen utensils, for example, there was no kettle. Everything in the hotel was just perfect. Good choice for families with kids and pets!
