Really nice hotel, it is huge but was almost empty when we stayed there. A lot of space and facilities. Personel was really friendly and spoke English good enough. Location is excellent; at the end of the valley next to a cable car that leads up to the mountain. Really good for hiking. The room is larger than in most other hotels with a balcony and a great view.

The apartment was very well equipped and clean. The hostess (Natalia) was very responsive as we had some problem with the washing machine at 9 pm and she came over immediately to fix the problem. The apartment was very well equipped and clean.

    Santa Marina is a small town with minimal facilities.

    Santa Marina is a small town with minimal facilities. The main motto is Be Prepared. Do your shopping beforehand. Petrol and supermarket are a 35km drive away. The only real amentiy is walking in the beautiful scenic Picos de Europa.

    First of all, this town is called Santa Marina de Valdeon.

    First of all, this town is called Santa Marina de Valdeon. It is a small mountain village with a great restaurant and a superb location for either starting hikes in the village, or to explore the valley in the Picos. A bakery is 3 km further, which we frequented daily.
