Beautiful hotel, inside an old building perfectly recovered. Rooms and bathroom spacious, luminous and with good amenities, coffee machine and boiler. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Location excellent very central, in front of the port, near restaurants and very near the old and beautiful church Stª Maria del Campo. Very good breakfast with fresh fruit, pastries, excellent bread, cheese, tomato and scrambled eggs made on demand. Breakfast room is really beautiful with stone walls and a stone arch. Lots of things to see in and around Muros, lots of good restaurants where to eat really well, and marvellous sandy beaches nearby, as for example, Larido and Carnota.

This is a family run hotel , very modern in a good location. Parking was in front of the hotel on a large grassy / gravel area . Rooms are not huge but not an issue .

The accommodation was new and thus was very well equipped and in great condition. Very much all you need for self accommodation. The attention from owners was excellent too. The location is right in the centre of Muros and therefore close to all the amenities.

We stayed for one night but would have happily stayed much longer. Everything was perfect for us. The location is fabulous - a pleasant 15 mins walk to the glorious Carnota beach, and just 2 mins to the famous Carnota hórreo, the longest in Spain. The rooms were spotless, chic and very comfortable, with towels, toiletries and a lovely view to the sea in the distance. What makes O Prouso super special is Pedro, the owner, who looked after us wonderfully well. He knew what we wanted before we did! He reserved us a table in the bar, made us a delicious chicken and potato dish for dinner…all without us speaking a word of Spanish! Everyone at O Prouso obviously works very hard to make guests feel comfortable, welcomed and catered for and Pedro is the perfect host. The bar beneath the rooms was lively and popular with locals, a real slice of Galician life. Marvellous! Highly recommend. We’d love to come back.
