El Tanque itself is not a tourist town and has a well priced - compared to the south of the island - butcher, baker, well stocked and friendly supermarket, as well as a few restaurants and - good - pizzerias. Paganinis is quirky with good food and friendly staff. Pizzería Al Albahaca is a great sit-in or takeaway option when you can neither be bothered cooking or going out after a long day.
