Tarbena is a small and quiet little town.
Tarbena is a small and quiet little town. There were only a few bars and restaurants open at this time, but they were good. There’s a useful little supermarket. Ample car parking on the edge of the town. The local town is very traditional , agricultural high up in the mountains remember it is 4 or 5 deg colder than sea level ( Which in the summer is quite a relief ) The local bars are friendly especially "Can Pinet" family owned. Lovely little place, however getting something to eat on a Weds evening was a problem. Of 8 restaurants not a single 1 was open after 6pm. We went to local supermarket and bought in food to cook which was fine as my husband likes to cook. Even the piscina was closed due to vacation, oh and the church!
