This place was immaculately kept and the owners are clearly very proud of their property. The table was set beautifully for us on our arrival and the lovely Christmas tree was a wonderful touch. The kids rushed to the small sleds on the porch and had a blast while I prepared dinner in the fully equipped kitchen. The beds were comfy and the rooms well appointed. The sauna is incredible with digital control and the whole space feels so inviting. The owners left treats for the kids and it felt like a very personal touch. Wish I could give this place a 100/10. And that's without even speaking of the great value for the area. A short drive from Rovaniemi and all the wonderful Christmas themed attractions. Would recommend and would definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The location was really good considering that we rented a car and wanted to be off the main city. We could easily drive around to the waterfalls and Ranua zoo. The room was spacious and comfortable and we also enjoyed the sauna! The host is friendly and gave us good tips on what to visit in the area. It was also a great spot to catch the Northern Lights without having to travel anywhere else, but that was also a good dose of luck :)

I really liked the kitchen; it had a complete set of tableware and cookware, and even included seasonings. The facilities worked well. The house was very spacious, and both the bed and sofa were very comfortable. The landlord was very kind and provided a lot of assistance! Although the location was somewhat remote, there were forests and other places nearby to explore. The landlord even provided a small sled, which was adorable.

Calm, quiet, natural, secluded but still close to Rovaniemi, ideal for disconnecting and getting back to the things that matter. We especially liked the sauna and the ceremony around it (bringing water, making the fire, warming up the sauna, bathing, etc.). Unique!

Lovely property a drive away from Ranua Zoo. This place is in the countryside, on a farm with dairy cows, and hosted by a really friendly family. The property is comfortable and spacious with all of the basics you will need (do go to the supermarket/shops before arriving as otherwise you have a long drive there and back). We slept very well, with no noise or disturbances (we were a family of 4, with 2 small kids). The sauna, overlooking the lake, is *really* something. Bring your swimclothes. A unique, special place where you will find peace. Pure nature! We had a reindeer in the yard for a short visit :-) Miika, the owner, was very kind and helpful. We couldn‘t ask for more.
