I was with my family there for 1 night on my way to West France. The personal was nicel. The hotel was clean and renovated. The breakfast had a good assortment of options for each of us. We really liked it and we would definitely come back whenever we want to go again to the west of France.

It was a fantastic experience. The location was extremely convenient, as it was situated near the Amiens rail station and had a back gate entrance, which saved me a lot of time and hassle. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, with a large and clean bathroom that even had conditioner provided. The smart TV in the room was a great addition and allowed me to watch YouTube, while also providing useful information about the city's attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The lobby and restaurant of the hotel were both stylish and comfortable, making for a pleasant atmosphere to relax in. While the breakfast was good overall, I wasn't a fan of the cold cut selection. However, the freshly squeezed orange juice was a definite highlight and really hit the spot. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Amiens. The location, amenities, and friendly staff make it a great choice for any traveller. The stay was much much better than in Paris.

Great location, the must-see sights are all within 10-15 min walk, many bars and brasseries are just a few minutes away. The hotel is also close to the Saint Leu area with bars and restaurants near the river (10 min) (see photo). Parking in the nearby parking garage (90m away) is also good, it felt safe. It is a dog-friendly hotel and also the staff was very nice and accommodating. I got a room on the second floor and had a very nice view on the cathedral (see photo). I had a pleasant stay and on top of that the weather was sunny.

There are no parking Facilities, at the St Louis, However we managed to street park Just round the corner. When we arrived in reception, we where greeted with a Friendly Greeting, and we where given options for a couple of Carparks Close to the Property. We Where also Given A Local Street Map, And a Full Clear and Precise Explanation of Places of Interest and Locations. We where also Directed to The Best Places to Eat, Which Was Just a Short 10Min Walk From the Hotel. The Bed was Comfy and The Room and Facilities where Clean.

Excellent location. Parking underneath the hotel. Entrance to parking is Amiens 2. Supermarket in the same building complex. Plenty of food outlets opposite hotel. Close to the centre and Cathedral. Room was superb: spacious, clean comfotable. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Good selection at breakfast. Will definitely chose this hotel when in Amiens again.

Friendly staff, amazing location, pleasant design (although not really my style), spacious room, good cleaning. The communication with the property was very easy and efficient, our special requests were taken into consideration. Overall we are very satisfied. Thank you! We didn't take breakfast as in the area there are nice places where you can eat. But if you go for this option like us, please consider that you should book a table in advance, otherwise it's possible to miss breakfast time at the hotel and not to be able to eat elsewhere... If you are lucky, of course there is a chance to have breakfast without any reservation :)

    I used Amiens as a base to visit important historical sites...

    I used Amiens as a base to visit important historical sites in surrounding towns and villages. The Cathedral is the largest Gothic construction. The parks and canal boat tour is recommended. Although in France the cradle of gastronomic food, I also enjoyed Turkish food on offer not far from the B&B. Well priced and fresh, meat done on charcoal.

    Around the train station, Amiens was rather ordinary.

    Around the train station, Amiens was rather ordinary. I was surprised by the giant awning over the plaza near the hotel. Walking north to the centre of town gave a little more charm. The Cathedral is majestic and imposing. Going further north, the Somme river is gorgeous, with the 'quai' restaurants. South of the Cathedral is the Musée de Picardie - a must see with three levels - prehistoric, medieval and recent past, chock-full of artefacts and information. Many gaulish and roman coins, dinosaur bones, statues and busts, and truly beautiful paintings to rival those in the Louvres.

    Amiens it is well connected to both Paris and the Beauvais...

    Amiens it is well connected to both Paris and the Beauvais airport, thus it wasn’t difficult to add a few days in this city to the trip to Paris and it was well worth it. The city is very nice, I liked a lot the city center, the Saint Leu district, the food, Verne's house. The Cathedral is superb.

    Very nice medium sized French city.

    Very nice medium sized French city. Cathedral is main attaction, just an astonishing building, whatever your views on religious extravagance. Son-et-lumiere there is just jaw-dropping, especially part when it picks out what the original colours of the sculptures would have been. Enjoyed boat trip around Hortillonages 'floating' gardens and the trip on the town road-train. City is clean, felt safe and has all the shops, facilities and restaurants you could wish for. People friendly and helpful. Well located for access to the Somme Valley, Baie de Somme and WW1 western front battlefields, museums and memorials.

    Amiens has a magnificent cathedral that is laser lit in the evening over Summer 2025 from July 12. We walked extensively in central Amiens & enjoyed this much. As Australians we were very interested in seeing WW1 Western Front battlefields and the great Sir John Monash Centre which we toured with an excellent insightful private guide.

    Amazingly quirky hotel, full of original features in an amazing location in Amiens. Huge, spacious rooms, with lots of character. Very comfortable. There are no staff, you’re just given codes for all the rooms. It was also super quiet when we stayed. There is also a full, shared kitchen and a really good coffee machine for guests to use.

    This is a new hotel, close to the Amiens train station but a little hard to find and get to. The staff were very welcoming and allowed me to store my bag on arrival and departure, and gave me a map to help me get around. The room was very clean and comfortable and the area was quiet. It was ideal for my short weekend stay.
