    Small village / town, lovely church to visit, the pub, Le...

    Small village / town, lovely church to visit, the pub, Le Pont de la Pierre, by the river is a must visit as such a lovely setting and well worth the walk. The Restaurant Le Palais nice setting but we got overcharged and will not be frequenting this place on our future visits. The restaurant Le Cheval Blanc offered a set menu and it was fastfood with à la carte prices. Le Central Bar was good for drinks. Gets busy with visitors, ex-pats and local residents. Bellac itself is pretty quiet and a car is a must, lot of interesting beautiful places to visit in the nearby surroundings.

    This apartment was nicely decorated in a quirky style and had most things needed for a two night stay. The host was helpful beforehand, providing directions to find the building (useful as it didn't come up on our GPS) and instructions for entering and off-road parking, then later for operating the TV. The apartment is well-located, a short walking distance from the centre of Bellac.

    Perfect spot for a 2 night stay stopover en route from uk to south of france. Bellac is perfect location for visiting this area - oradour sur glane, menhirs. Great eateries in gorgeous Bellac too. le Cheval Blanc on night 1 - very tasty homemade food, and good burger/chips on night 2 at Bellachon. Accommodation was perfect for us - central, genial. I would recommend.

    Beautiful furnished room in lovely old building. Set in the old part of the pretty village of Bellac overlooking the river. Continental Breakfast was fresh and plenty to eat. Received a warm welcome from Janet and Steve, hopefully will be back
