The city was clean and welcoming with a good choice of restaurants and easy to walk around town. The waterfront was abuzz with visitors and locals alike. Beautiful town of historical interest, although very hilly. Restaurant of varying quality, never expected to have to check reviews before booking in France. The Nausicaa oceanarium is the reason why we stopped at the city during our road trip, and it is totally worth it. There was a free bus (doesn't run on Sundays) which stopped outside and went and and down the hill to the harbour and shops. It was good to have an outdoor terrace to have a drink and eat breakfast as the weather was warm during our stay.. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our rooms were better than expected - functional but clean and fine for a few nights stay. The kitchen is small but well equipped in case you want to cook some simple meals. There are lots of restaurants, cafés and bars nearby which make this area lively but we didn't find it too noisy. The parking place closby is a big plus, too. The owner was very helpful through his messages. The lobby, breakfast room and bedrooms are exceptional. Everything is clean and comfortable. The bedrooms are actually a suite with separate adjoined room for children, a huge bathroom (bubble bath provided) and separate toilet. Breakfast was delicious, with everything you could want.
