The hosts are so lovely, they helped us with anything we needed and gave us lots of recommendations for the area! We stayed in the private room which had a balcony with an amazing view over the vineyards. Very spacious and comfortable room with private bathroom with a bath. Perfect location to walk into Chateauneuf-du-Pape.

Our stay at this magnificent chateau felt like stepping into a French fairytale. With its light blue shutters and breathtaking surroundings. We were lucky enough to stay in a stunning room on the top floor, complete with elegant French décor, a spacious bathroom, and the most incredible views. One of our favourite moments was enjoying a glass of rosé from the honesty bar on our private secret balcony, watching the sunset. The gardens were beautifully maintained, the pool area was peaceful and inviting, and the outdoor games were such a fun bonus. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight — especially the Irish tea served with fresh cow’s milk, which made my day. The service was warm and friendly, and everything about our stay was relaxing and special. We could easily have stayed for a week — it’s the kind of place you never want to leave!

Location - just five min walk from the old town and Amfitheatre. Very friendly staff at the reception, parking: many places, safe area, Value for money : our room for 4 was simple, but with all necessary accessories; we liked the northern style bed covers - not the FR style blankets, there is even a small frige to store travel leftovers and a kettle with teabags and coffee offer. Great place to sleep on the way to Spain and to visit the area. Easy access from the motorway.

    Châteauneuf-du-Pape offer very little to visitors. Few attractions, few restaurants and few shops. It does have several wine shops, but that is about it. Don't expect to find an interesting and exciting place like Saint-Emilion. If I return to the region, I will stay in Avignon.

    Darling little town, with lots of opportunities to taste the wines of the area. Most tastings do not cost, but it seems appropriate to buy some wine at the establishments you visit. We really enjoyed the staff at Vinadea, where we were able to ask questions and try wines from many producers. We learned a lot and really enjoyed the wines at Ogier Winery. The staff was very informative, and the property is beautiful. We did a drive through the vineyards and visited a few smaller estates/producers and enjoyed the overall passion everyone has for their wines. This is a place for Rhone wine lovers!

    We try to return yearly for the wine. New restos now this year. We had a drink and a snack at La Part des Anges on the terrace like usual and were charged 5 euros for sitting at the table . No place inside to sit, kind of a mess ( chairs, tables, buggy) noted on the way to the WC. Lots of locals drinking their expressos. The owner also runs the bakery next door so we had great croissants/ coffee early the next morning, Great town for walks and mostly free tastings. Polite to buy a bottle.

    An excellent location. Made a good home base . Easy to explore surrounding towns The cottage was very clean well thought out and comfortable Our hosts were friendly and helpful . Provided good tips re parking in Avignon and restaurant in Châteauneuf-du-Pape They also informed us of a special dinner with wine pairings in a nearby chateau that was a lovely experience Recommend highly Looking forward to staying here again one day

    Best location you can think of in Chateauneuf-du-Pape if you want to embrace the spirit of the village. Right in the middle of the village, old vintage building, it breathes vinemaking and old days Provence. Cosy, comfortable, has all amenities. Sandra was a great host. Very responsive and helpful. I would stay again without a doubt.
