Chaville has a good Chinese restaurant (Lotus D'or), it also has a theater/cinema, but we didn't visit it. The location is ideal for visiting Paris. You can take the bus (number 171) every 10 minutes towards the metro station or towards Chateâu Versailles. It also has enough public parkings available. The only downside: you need to take the bus and pay it first (using SMS) before you can use your visit paris travel card, because that's only available at the metro stations, which is quickly 4 km's away from Chaville.Guest review byKevin_SimonsBelgium

Great location, quiet and felt safe, close to 2 stations and bus routes to get into Paris. Monoprix, Casino, Carrefour City, boulangeries etc nearby. It is quite near to the main line into Montparnasse, so trains pass frequently, but it didn't bother us. Wifi and TV were ok, although there were no instructions for the TV which had a secondary box and remote control. Helpful receptionist assisted with bus information to Versaille which was only 25 minutes away at a cost of 2.50 euros one way per person. Can highly recommend Versaille Palace. Hotel within half a mile of beautiful forest areas for runs and walks. Supermarkets, bars, restaurants & takeaways all within immediate vicinity. Extremely comfortable bed.
