Dinard is a lovely, clean and friendly town that is very 'chilled' - it puts our UK seaside resorts to absolute shame. Perhaps because there were few 'brits' there - certainly not many 'tubs & tats' There are loads of good shops and restaurants and the locals are really welcoming. The view from this elegant apartment is simply stunning! The position is great and having safe, free parking made such a difference - we didn't use the car all weekend and really loved the short boat trip over to St Malo. The building (former Hotel Royal) is in need of significant renovation. Work is underway which could make things noisy during the week but Friday-Monday was perfect.Guest review byJane - 8.0

Dinard is a great location for a family beach holiday but...
Dinard is a great location for a family beach holiday but also for visiting the numerous sites of interests in that region of Brittany and Normandy. Whilst there, we visited St Malo, Le Mont St Michel, Dinan, Fort La Latte and Le Val-Andre amongst many others. Lots of history but also countryside. Great boat trips from Dinard to lots of places. The best market we were at in 2 months in France is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The beach and beautiful waterfront is only about a 10 minute walk.
