What a fabulous place to stay. This property has been lovingly renovated and feels like a friends home you are visiting, rather than paid accommodation. Nathalie explained where the parking was, close by. It is free and a two minute walk. Our room was huge and amazing. It was the Deluxe King Suite. The bed was huge and very, very comfortable. We had chairs to sit on and so much space. Lots of natural light with opening windows. There is no aircon, but we didn't need it as there was a fan. The bathroom was also very big, with double sinks and lots of lovely products to use. The shower had lots of hot water. The toilet is separate and is also in a large space, with a hand basin. Al the fixtures and fittings are of good quality and a lot of thought has gone into the choice of tiles, furnishings and making the suite comfortable and luxurious. The property is full of amazing furniture, artwork, personal treasures and flowers. Our room overlooked the big back garden, which has a terrace to sit and have breakfast on. The breakfast was amazing. Beautiful, set out in the formal dining room. We had fresh juice, individual bowls of fresh fruits, fresh pastries and bread, cheese, jams, homemade yogurt, cereal and fresh coffee. There are many restaurants and bars close by and it is easy to walk to all the local sites as well. Ducey is a very pretty and friendly town and we enjoyed our stay here.

Fantastic place to stay close to Mont Saint Michel! We stayed with a baby and a dog and it was very comfortable and relaxed. Great surroundings for walks, the breakfast was amazing and the people so friendly and welcoming!

Wasn't at all impressed with how the place was put together - it was like they picked odd bits of wood up, or a large grotty mirror was hanging on the wall, but the mirrors were hung to high for us even to see in them - no light in the shower toilet room either.....

Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, facilities were extremely comfortable and extremely clean, hot water was readily available and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Next time we stay we will be there for dinner. Great for families as there is facilities readily available and accessible.

    Historic town with interesting buildings. Hotel was beside the river and there was a good path alongside for a walk in the countryside. There is a market on Tuesdays but we didn't have time to visit it.

    Ducey is very well located - near Mont St.

    Ducey is very well located - near Mont St. Michel, close to the main road north, and a great place to break the journey from further south to Cherbourg. The only disadvantage is that the town itself, while very lovely, is very quiet and there are very few places to eat in the evening.

    I booked this hotel because of its connection to Best...

    I booked this hotel because of its connection to Best Western however we were disappointed .... There was no shower gel in the dispenser - we had to get someone to fill it up. There was no hot water to take a shower in the morning. The bathroom was very small and very awkward. There were very strong winds during the night which disturbed our sleep as the windows do not seem to be double glazed and there was something flapping in the wind. Breakfast was good although there was no toaster ! Pretty location and very close to Mont St Michel.

    Just rooms were some what dated and need decorating, was a plug in electric heater in the room, presume the other radiators did not work. Overall on but i have stayed in much better for the price. Big plus was watching the wildlife on the river whilst taking early morning coffee. Excellent outlook.

    Nathalie and Laurent were great hosts at the Maison d’hôtes de charme La Rose de Ducey, and we enjoyed our stay in their lovely accommodation. The breakfasts were extra special, featuring home-baked goods as well as those from the local bakery. Nathalie was extremely helpful with recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit, with a highlight being the Scriptorial in Avranches, which was a wonderful addition to our trip to Mont Saint-Michel.

    Situated east of Le Mont St Michel this hotel is ideally placed for a stop before heading to the channel ports. Everyone is friendly and helpful and every effort - including a named parking space - is made to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Best of all the food alone is worth a detour. We had no menu choices, simply a well put together dinner with each course an excellent balance of fish and fowl with delightful desserts.

    I really like the design of the rooms. You can see at first sight how much love and effort Celine invested in her hotel. Every detail is well thought out. Celine is super friendly and very supportive. I would recommend everyone stay at the hotel for at least two nights to enjoy the atmosphere.
