Arriving at the property through the glorious flower covered stone archway, you are greeted (not only by a gorgeous castle turret but) with a sense of space and tranquility, like taking a deep exhale. Such a wonderful location looking out over stunning fields into the distance. Opening the door to welcome us, such instantly charming hosts, it’s hard not to feel like you’re being greeted by old friends. They showed us to our ground floor suite with en suite bathroom, private kitchette and living room - which opens out directly onto the garden - and we were thrilled. It was an absolute bargain of a stay and yet felt like such a luxurious treat! Very good value for money, incredibly clean, good water pressure in a large shower, beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could wish for and a lovely breakfast including homemade confiture (jam) which was delivered to our room and we ate it in our private dining area.  Not only would we recommend it to others but sincerely hope we have the opportunity to return ourselves.

I can’t describe how beautiful the place is. Situated in a small cozy village in the middle of the French countryside, the “gite” is very peaceful with a huge garden, own pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The house is spacious and has a modern bathroom and in the kitchen you can find everything you need for cooking including a gas stove which I personally liked very much! The owners really know how to make you feel most welcome, and their friendliness and hospitality give your stay that little extra personal touch. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy too. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay for longer!

We were greeted very warmly after our long journey from Dublin. The room was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed, including tea and coffee facilities plus a generous ensuite bathroom. The heating was on, so it was warm and cosy despite the cold weather outside. Norma was a wonderful host and not only served amazing breakfasts but also had great local knowledge. We will definitely be back!

The house was exceptional.

The house was exceptional. Everything was of the highest quality and comfort. The facilities were perfect. Christophe the owner was the best host. If you are looking for the best french holiday, this is it. We've been to France many times and this is the best place we have stayed. We really didn't want to leave.
